Ceiling Repairs

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CAPITAL FUND PROGRAM
SC 17-501-23 CEILING REPAIRS / COMM. #6245
GAFFNEY HOUSING AUTHORITY GAFFNEY, SOUTH CAROLINA

Sealed proposals will be received by the GAFFNEY HOUSING AUTHORITY for SC 17-501-23 until 3:00 PM, TUESDAY, JANUARY 28, 2025, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for the furnishing of labor, material and equipment entering into the Modernization of Project SC 17-1.

 Scope of work will consist of repairs and modernization of existing project and includes the following items:

  • Plaster ceiling repairs in select apartments.
  • Repairs to metal roof penetration boots.
  • All other work as shown on plans, in the specifications and as required by codes.

A Pre-Bid Conference has been scheduled for WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 15, 2025 AT 11:00 AM.  
Meeting will be held at the Housing Authority Administrative Office, 125 Beltline Road, Gaffney, South Carolina 29341. A site visit will follow. The Owner will unlock designated units so Contractors can have access to the interior.  

Questions that arise from the Site Visits are to be directed to the Architect at bids@stognerarchitecture.com.

For instructions on downloading these documents email bids@stognerarchitecture.com.   Documents may be obtained in printed form from Duncan Parnell, 900 S. McDowell St, Charlotte, NC 28204, cad1@duncan-parnell.com, (704) 372-7766 with production costs being paid by the contractor. All contractors are hereby notified that they must have proper license under the State laws governing their respective trades, whether or not Federal Funding is involved. Contractors will be responsible to ensure that economic opportunities, to the greatest extent feasible follow Section 3 Requirements 24 CFR Part 135.1 and Section 3 Clause 24 CFR Part 135.38.                            

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
